err
I am jobless, money-less and insanely hungry all the time
....but I am happy.
Finally getting rid of the freaking job I hated felt like something was lifted off of my shoulders but of course it somewhat worries me that I didn't pursue for a proper and peaceful closure with the company... I just hope it won't bother or affect me in any way in the future. UGH~
Let's just focus on sleeping, eating and searching for a (easy) job for now. We can do this!

not creative at giving titles :D
Back in college, I remember how excited I was to graduate and get over all the stress of being a student and earn money on my own to buy whatever I want. But some four months after graduation which is about right now, I am certain I want to take those words back.
Hunting for a fresh graduate's first job is never easy, or at least for me whose mind is forever on a confused state. I, up to now, still don't know if I am going to pursue a career that is related to my course or something that is different and easy. I'd really want to give teaching a shot because of all the bills and laws being passed that are beneficial to teachers and the incentives they can get. $_$ But before I even get to that, let's not forget the up and coming Board Examinations for Teachers (LET) which is happening in.....12 days from now and what's alarming is I haven't made any proper prepatations yet. Hence, I could not call myself ready for the exams yet. And I could only imagine myself getting embarassed the moment the results come out and my name isn't there.
On the other hand, when I started joining my friend, Glenda in applying mainly in call center offices for a job, I easily get jitters especially when we're already being interviewed. We went to approximately 4 call centers around the metro to apply and we had a variety of experiences in each. But the last one we both had, is the center I really dreamt of being accepted although I guess it'll be better if I won't mention the company's name. It was a real surprise and shock when I got hired in this company after a couple of hours of merely walking into the entrance of their office somewhere in Makati. It was quick and before I knew it, I was already there, sitting in front of a round table, an HR personnel discussing the contents of the probationary contract they're offering and waiting for me to sign. The fact that I passed all the exams I went through and was being offered to be part of the company already had me speechless, so without putting much thought into it, I signed lots of paperworks and was informed that the training / "work" will start in ... 2 days. Such short notice!
I seriously think the company is overrated though, the salary they offer is not high but the quality they're looking for and demand from their employees could be a standard for a CEO's!...now I'm exaggerating a bit.
Perhaps it's true that this company has to be one of the "best"...bah in terms of call centers in the country, but after my more than three months of stay, the fact that the statement "I've hadenough" came out of my mouth is to attest that they title given to them was too much and a little undeserved.
Fucked up schedule is already a given. Rude customers, is another. Your Team Leader/s are also one thing. The friends you make in your officemates are worth remembering. The schedule that caused you pimples is unacceptable. And of course, the salary is to cry for.
Apart from taking in calls and deal with more or less 30 people of different attitudes per day, it's also our duty to keep our metrics on an average scale or even higher. I won't go into details on that but seriously, all the stereotypes about call centers being an easy job, after being in this company for 3 months, went down the drain.
And the embarassment I had to go through during the medical as if we're severely ill people. Let's just put it this way. I was thoroughly checked...even down there! Seriously. Get real! Your standards are way too high, it won't hurt to lower them a little and level them with the salary you offer. (PLEASE)
And so after weighing things and nights, nights & more nights of me dragging myself to work (telling myself I don't wanna go to work anymore) and every interruption and rude actions towards me and us, I decided to let go. Call me "choosy" "maarte" and all those, I don't fcking care. I just made a decision which I hope would do me good.
Which leads me back to the statement I mentioned in college. Now if I could rephrase that, I'd say, if only I could be a student forever, whose life was carefree, happy, pimple-free! (LOL)
PS: I haven't even submitted my resignation yet, my father told me not to go on AWOL but in this company I'm in, after submitting your aapplication for resignation, you'll need to render 30 freakin days of work before they let you go. Seriously?!
Pardon my un-understandable writing and rant. It's been a long while since I last posted and wrote.

WHY
I've been shipping / supporting a Korean boyband -- mainly; a male couple in it for roughly the past 5 years so two beautiful men being together, so long as the other looks like a girl enough for them to look like a normal couple, it's okay with me.
I've also been reading fanfictions with regard to such male to male stuff so I have nothing against them until Fifty Shades of Grey and Matt Bomer came along. There have been rumors floating around that Matt Bomer will embody Christian and who'd ever say NO to that yummy piece of meat when he's totally going to satisfy or exceed your sexual cravings in that erotic novel turned movie?
Prior to learning about the possibility of him being Christian Grey, I've been aware that he has come out and made some research as to who his partner is really but hasn't paid attention much on it.
Until again, I've come across this post on Plurk where my friends have been talking about Matt Bomer and being the stalker-ish and curious person I am, I decided to look at Matt and his partner (who turned out to be a Simon) on google and guess what? After some eight to ten minutes of deep and scrutinizing look at the photos, I could not help but wonder what Matt saw in his partner for him to like and "make babies" with him. I admit I'm a person who's more into considering the physical appearance of the other person. And it so happened that Simon didn't look that appealing to me....considering his partner is THE MATT BOMER( BONER). So WHY? I just want to know why ... (and this is my curiosity talking right here).
And why won't my nose stop running? It seems to not feel tired at all. UGH!

stuff
Hola!
Honestly, I do not know how to start writing this entry however the fact that the past weeks have gone by in a blur, I just feel the need to post something here.
I've got a job?
Well technically yes and no. Yes because this company is paying me (real low!) and no because I'm nothing but a trainee who's still trying to get the hang of things and someone who's still contemplating if this job's something that would really fit me, if it's the kind of job I'd be wanting to have even after a couple of years.
You see, working in a call center industry is, once you get the hang of it, as they say, will be as easy as a piece of cake. Well that could be true and right now I cannot attest to that since I still have a lot to learn but as early as now, I'm starting to have second thoughts on how sure am I about this job. And I'd rather not say the reason to that.
Who knows what'll happen in the future, though? It's better not to assume.
I've got a cat?
Yes! I've literally picked a stray and weak-looking kitten who strolls in our neighborhood. One night, I saw her simply sitting (like a cat) across our house and I do not know what came to me but I went over to get her and let her inside our house. My mom was aggravated, started to mention all the cons of having a cat inside the house -- hygiene-wise because we had kittens before who weren't and could not be disciplined to poop and pee in the right place. So during that night, even if it was against my will, I let the kitten go and I seriously had a bad feeling about that.
My doubt was answered because the next day, it was my mom who saw her outside our house, seemingly sick and unable to move. She hurriedly told me about it and I immediately took her inside our house. She looked sick and weak; and after some time of observing her, I noticed that her -- I dunno, hand or feet? -- was swollen and she keeps on meow-ing. She's very hungry, too!
Anyway, my mom named her "Kyu-Pi" not really sure about the spelling because: kyu-comang; pi-pilay (injured). And good thing she knows how to follow because she only pees and poops in the right place -- the only condition my mom has. If the pet pees and poops in the right place, then we're good.
Hence, we kept her and she's still with us now, weighing thrice the weight she has when I first held her. And she's energetic and playful, too! heeee~~~
There, I am just exhausting myself so I could go to sleep~~

damn
I really am not in the mood right now because the internet connection's being a bitch and my brother's taking up almost all of the connection while I'm watching The Amazing Spiderman. I just want to finish the movie coz it's really awesome and Andrew Garfield's really hot but the connection's not cooperating. DAMN IT.
So how's it going lately? Me? Hmmm I'd rather not tell. But I do hope the track I am right now isn't something I'd regret in the future. Well...sigh.
It's already 3:27 in the morning.
A fucked up sleep for a fucked up person. Great.
